What's in every installation

  • Pre-install survey, confirms consumer unit capacity and best cable route
  • Charger unit advice, we recommend and supply the best model for your use (myenergi Zappi, Ohme, Hypervolt, etc.); the charger unit itself is priced separately by model
  • Cable run from consumer unit to charger location
  • Dedicated 32A circuit protected by a Type A RCBO, mandatory for EV chargers per BS 7671 (DC fault detection built into the charger handles the 6mA DC residual). We never fit Type AC.
  • DNO notification handled (NGED, formerly Western Power), required by the network operator for every EV charger
  • Commissioning + certification, minor works certificate issued
  • App setup + 5-min training on your new charger

When the cost is higher

  • Longer cable runs, priced up front after the survey
  • Consumer unit upgrade needed, we'll include in quote (from £750)
  • Underground or through-wall routing, priced per job
  • 3-phase installs, separate quote, usually 22kW chargers
  • The charger unit, priced separately by model; entry-level smart chargers are the most affordable, premium units (Andersen, Pod Point) cost more
