Yes. Bruton has a concentration of high-end commercial sites (galleries, hotels, schools, restaurants) where the install standard has to be invisible, cable runs hidden, APs colour-matched, controllers properly configured. We do clean cable management with test packs on every run, and our handover documentation is built for the next contractor to read in five years.
PoE (802.3af) gives 15.4 W per port, enough for a basic AP or VoIP phone. PoE+ (802.3at) gives 30 W, standard for most commercial APs, IP cameras and access-control kit. PoE++ (802.3bt) gives up to 90 W, needed for multi-radio outdoor APs, heated cameras, or PTZ domes. We size the switch to your kit list.
For commercial sites we always install managed switches, you need VLANs to separate staff / guest / CCTV / IoT traffic, and you need the management interface for fault-finding. Reyee RG-NBS3100 series is our default (24-port and 48-port PoE+ variants, lifetime cloud management free, no licence renewal). Unmanaged is fine for a domestic AP, not for a commercial install.
Each PoE switching job is priced individually, because no two sites are alike. The price depends on how many devices need powering, the switch and power budget that calls for, any UPS runtime you want and the cabling on site. We survey first, then give you a fixed written quote covering kit, cabling, labour and VAT.
