Bath's commercial EV picture splits hard. Locksbrook / Lower Bristol Road industrial units mostly have ample 3-phase headroom, straightforward 8 to 16-bay fleet installs without DNO escalation. Bath Quays new-build offices have decent 3-phase but landlord-controlled metering and proprietary sub-metering arrangements make chargeback billing the design challenge, not the power. The heritage city centre (Royal Crescent, Pulteney, Milsom) is the opposite, Grade I/II listed retail and offices with single-phase 100A heads, no on-street parking, and concealed cable runs through period fabric. We almost always recommend dynamic load management on Bath central jobs to avoid the DNO upgrade.
