Frome's a different shape from Wells or Bath, the Marston Trading Estate and Commerce Park to the south carry most of the town's industrial and fleet operators, with strong 3-phase availability for 8 to 12-bay fleet rollouts without DNO escalation. The Cheap Street / Catherine Hill independent retail core is heritage and tight, so we usually recommend single 7 kW destination chargers with dynamic load management rather than upgrades.
Older 1970s units around Westway / Vallis Way frequently still have legacy split-load consumer units that aren't suitable for new EV circuits under BS 7671, which needs each charge point on its own RCD with DC fault protection (we fit Type A RCBOs with chargers that have 6 mA DC detection built in). Marston Trading Estate has good supply infrastructure but landlord consent for sub-main runs needs sorting upfront.
