Domestic electrical work across Frome: lighting, extra sockets, kitchens and bathrooms, fault finding, consumer units and alarms, in period homes and new builds alike.
Every job priced individually, with a written quote specific to your house.

Much domestic electrical work is small and specific. A pendant moved to sit over a new dining table. Wall lights either side of a fireplace. A socket in the right place for a desk. An extractor fan that runs on after the bathroom light goes off. Done properly, those jobs take care rather than time.
In older houses that care matters more. Lime plaster cracks if it is cut carelessly, original floorboards split if they are levered up, and old ceilings do not like heavy fittings. We take our time on the parts of the job you will see.
Every job is priced before we start, tested when we finish, and certified. Notifiable work is registered with Building Control through our NAPIT registration.
Frome has a high number of listed buildings and a large conservation area, and plenty of older homes that are not listed but still have period features worth keeping. Lighting is often the biggest change people want: more light in dark rooms, warmer light in living spaces, and fittings that suit the house rather than fighting it.
We fit period-style switches and sockets in brass, bronze or painted finishes where you want them, or the screwless metal ranges from Click Scolmore. The choice is yours and is shown in the quote.
Newer homes on the town’s edges bring different requests: outside sockets for the garden, power to a garden office, extra sockets in bedrooms, and an EV charger on the drive.
All work is done by us, tested, and certified.
Your price will be specific to the house, so we don't publish a price list. Kitchen and bathroom electrics depend on how much is being done, alarm systems on the layout, and an EICR on the size of the installation and the number of circuits. We look first, by survey or from photos, then quote a fixed price in writing.
You speak to one of the two directors of the company, not a call centre.

We work in Norton St Philip, Beckington, Rode, Hinton Charterhouse, Mells, Great Elm, Nunney and Buckland Dinham. Many homes in those villages are stone-built and older than those in the town, and the same care over fabric applies.
Elsewhere: electrician in Radstock and electrician in Midsomer Norton.
A short description and a phone number is enough. Mention if the house is listed.
